If you were immortal wouldn't you eventually go mad through boredom?

Hollywood is already running out of ideas for new films, people have a hard time sticking with the same partner for as little as 50 years, so if you were immortal, wouldnt you eventually run out of things to do and because you were too "yellow" to kill yourself, would eventually go mad like in Teenage Caveman? How many things can you find to do in a billion years, a trillion?
