Cold weather and Gear?

Cold weather doesn't dmage your gear, but if you're not prepared it can damage the rider. Be aware of frostbite on any exposed skin, and layer yourself well under your outer coat. A good pair of gloves it a must, and they should keep your hands warm enough to maintain sensation and free movement for safety. When a person gets cold their muscles react more slowly, so increase following distance and be very aware that your reflexes will be much slower. Also, when you get to those temperatures, be very watchful of black ice on the roadway.
