So, who's really the "naive" one?

The naive position would be the one that believes Americans belong in a country that doesn't want them there. The naive position would be the one that umes American self-righteousness will mollify any human injustice committed in its name. The naive position would be the one that implies that one could occupy a sovereign and hostile nation to one's eventual benefit. The naive position would be the one that continues to make the same mistake and expecting a different result.
