Ok hopefully someone can shed some light on this subject for me. I started "dating" this lady about 7 months ago it was an instant attraction but I believe it was for all the wrong reasons. However if she had to keep the fact that she was sleeping with me away from her boyfriend there's no way his brother is asking her is she still getting any around his brother. We have a 3 year old male Dobie that runs...EVERYWHERE! There are 2 small flights of stairs when you first come into our house & if he's coming in, you better get outta the way...he'll run right into you. What sort of training could we start doing with him to try & break him of this? He gets lost of exercise outside with our Border Collie, but still comes inside like a bullet. And not just upstairs, but also through doorways, I have been pushed against a wall for him to get through first. 2009 Toyota Sienna Mileage Less Than Advertised.?

I recently bought a new 2009 Toyota Sienna two months back. When driving it out of the dealer lot it had 130 miles. It has a instrument panel which gives the average mpg. Out of the dealer lot it showed 14 mpg. Now it has increased to 15.2 mpg at 790 miles and has stayed there for a long time. It is not giving the average of 21 mpg as advertised. I asked the service center about it and they said it will increase after 500 miles. I am having my doubts now. Does anyone have similar experience?

With all of these guys coming out of college and demanding big money, why don't they just not enter the draft? If they have a lot of talent, the big teams can sign them and they won't have to worry about being drafted by a team that "can't afford" them. If the top players from places like the Dominican Republic can enter the league as free agents why don't the top college and high school guys? From a top prospects standpoint it seems like the better decison so you won't get stuck on a team like the Nationals and you can make your money.

As far as i understand, in low light the lens needs to stay open for longer (that's the ISO speed). Since it's hard to hold the camera steady for that long, you get a blurry picture.

I am an an American citizen and I have seen numerous doentaries and read numerous articles on health care in other industrialized nations around the world. When the reporter asked world leaders how many people went broke in their nation because of health care bills, they all laughed or looked surprised and said, "Absolutely none." One prime minister even said if that happened to one person, it would be a national scandal in that country. ALL industrialized nations provided health care for their citizens even if those citizens were unemployed. In the U.S., we now view education and legal representation as human rights, so why don't some Americans view health care as a human right?

My boyfriend wants a wedding..I dont?

My boyfriend and i have been together for almost 2 years. Recently he has started talking about marriage. We are going to vegas next year for my 21st and i suggested we just get married there, it's cheap and quick. He said he wouldn't want to do that because his family won't be there. I can understand that. So i suggested instead we just get married at the courthouse and then throw a party type thing for family and friends to celebrate the wedding. My new puppy contantly cries unless she can see or feel me?

We have had our little shih-tzu x maltese girl for three days now. She constantly cries unless she can see or feel me. It is making it difficult, if not impossible to leave her on her own. When we try keeping her in a room by herself with the door closed she yelps and cries constantly and almost hysterically. We've tried a ticking clock, hot water bottle, fluffy toys, a pillow with our scent on it and fluffy blankets. We're afraid if she keeps making too much noise, she will annoy the neighbours and upset surrounding dogs. Any more suggestions? Please help !?!?!

I have reason to believe that my cat, whom I brought to the ER to be more or less stabilized after his chest was tapped of fluid by another vet seemed to not have helped much, maybe got him worse, we transferred to ER to get a little help so we can take him home and he can die at home. However, we think the vet took it upon himself to put him down because when we walked into the treatment room, he was on the table on his side, and 4 techs were around him, 2 seem to be holding him down at least. When I picked him up, he was like jelly when beforehand, just 30 minutes ago, he was still alert. He was weak from the tap, but he was alert, and their own tech told me he was "stable" in the oxygen cage. I'm considering an autopsy, just to get closure, but not sure whether it will even yield anything. Shin splints are not healing?

I'm athletic and this is my first year of track. I don't run on concrete or asphalt just the track and gr. my shoes are around 3 or 4 months i have had shin splints for around 3 months more or less. I have ran through the pain until it hurt. I have gone to a doctor 5 weeks ago and he said to stay off of it for a week. I have been off of it for around 4 weeks before he told me and 3 after he told me and i still feel the pain. i have been icing it with ice in dixie cups and took double doses of ibuprofen for 1 or 2 weeks. It hasn't made it feel better. I have already bought compression socks and some insoles to help it feel better. The compression socks kind of ease the pain but not a lot. around 7 weeks ago i tried to run on it and only jogged 2 laps around the track until it started to hurt and then stopped for the day. Today i sprinted five feet and my left shin hurt bad (i was running on gr). I feel the pain in both legs. These "shin splints" are really pissing me off and i'm just about to run through this severe pain until i get a stress fracture (i really don't care anymore!).

He started it a couple of months ago. He has only done it about 3 times. It is a strange sound and when he wakes, the cry is unlike any other cry he makes. Panic attacks...convincing myself I have a heart problem?

Well I started getting these annoying and very scary panic attacks back in late January early February. I got my very first panic attack January of 2010 after smoking weed, I don't smoke at all anymore. I never got another one after that, and this year I had chest pain and had a panic attack and ever since started getting them frequently on a daily basis. Not a day goes by that I don't think about panic attacks, when I wake up it's the first thing on my mind, and it stays on my mind till I go to sleep at night. Bed time is my favorite part of the day because I don't have to deal with the panic attacks. I've gotten at least 4 or 5 EKG's just this year and all of them have been normal. I always think there's something wrong with my heart, or it's beating too fast, or I worry about having cardiac arrythmia or hypertension or something crazy like that. These panic attacks have stole my life away from me. I had to quit a good job because of them. I don't want to take meds cause that's more dangerous than the panic attacks, and I am seeing a therapist but I think because I see her every 2 weeks, it's not really working. But I am so tired of living my life in this fear. Work is pointless to me cause I think what's the use in working and getting money when all that doesn't even matter when almost every minute of my life I'm on edge and anxious about my next panic attack. I guess I'm just afraid of what a panic attack can do to me, although doctors have said they can't do anything. Should I be this worried about this?

I am a current drilling reservists. Recently, i began the process to go active duty. My form 368 was submitted and approved. I have began and completed my package with an active duty recruiter. It includes past 3 PRT, past 2 evaluations, references, request for sercurity clearance, dependent imformation, and the basic paperwork i did to join the reserves.It was like starting all over again.But anyways, my recruiter said my package had to be submitted to MEPS in jacksonville (thats my recruiting area) and they would have to look over it verify everything is complete and submit for higher authorization before i could go down to sign.I was supposed to went to MEPS yesterday, but my package is somewhere still at MEPS and hasnt been apporoved by the higher authority but MEPS says everything needed is there.Can anyone help me with how long it will take?Because I been at this for about two months now.And I am so close but yet far away.I just want to know how much more longer do i have to wait

I m a mom of 2 beautiful sons, 7 and 8 yr old.I always try to spend more n more time with my kids. Few days ago we 3 were playing a game at home in which each one of us had to guess a movie turn by turn, which was being enacted by any of us.My 8 yr old was enacting a movie which i had to guess,but my other son was constantly interrupting in between and trying to guess the movie. So i cupped my hand over his mouth from behind so dat he doesnt say in between,the name of the movie. It was all in fun and laughter. He started scratching my hand,but i didnt let go off my hand from his mouth till i correctly guessed the movie. Suddenly my hubby came and started scolding me for doing this. No, there is no way that by doing what you did, you could break your nose. The most common way people break their noses are to get hit hard in the face with something, or walk into something and hit their face... I honestly don't believe that you can break your nose by sticking your fingers in it and exhaling. And if you DID break your nose, you would most certainly know it. It would have been extremely swollen for at least a week, you would have had bruising under your eyes, you would have been in extreme pain, and your nose probably would have bled as well.

I kept the relaxer inside my hair for only a estimated 9 minutes thinking that would be enough. How foolish of me not performing a strand test before I've done this, was my first time. The bacteria gets in through the cut, and starts spreading into the surrounding tissue and into the bloodstream. Then the bloodstream carries the bacteria into all the different organs of the body, and the bacteria starts growing throughout the heart lungs, etc. The doctors try one antibiotic, and then another and then another, but they can't seem to find the right antibiotic to kill this particular bacteria. To make matters worse, a bad side effect of the antibiotics, is that antibiotics kill the good bacteria that you have in your intestines, which further weaken your system. At this point, the bacteria is so overgrown throughout your entire body, that no amount of antibiotics is strong enough to kill the gigantic society of bacteria that has taken over your blood and every organ in your body, so you die. That's kind of what happened to my aunt a few months ago (she was in her 60's and appeared healthy on the outside), but her infection began with a tear in her colon (caused by chronic constipation), and the intestinal bacteria escaped through the tear, infecting all the rest of her organs, and she died within a few days. Hockey skate fitting?

Im having trouble finding a skate that fits me right. Ive tried on a couple different brands and models, all of which my toe was touching the end, but i can still wobble the skate from side to side. Ive watched other people try on skates and ive noticed that none of them can move their foot (more like ankle/right above the ankle) side to side. I dont want to buy skates if im going to have this problem because i have rollerskates, and my current ice skates and its annoying and i feel like its putting me at a diadvantage trying to position my legs correctly for different things. Shower installation with copper piping?

So, I'm putting in a new tub/shower faucet in our bathroom. I've had experience soldering pipes together, but I've never had a need to use dielectric fittings. The faucet I have says to only use copper pipe (makes sense since the mixer is copper), but the tub spout and shower bend are stainless steel. I've read that stainless steel is a natural dielectric material, but is it really safe to directly connect my copper piping to the stainless steel fixtures without some kind of insulator between? My cars shaking in fifth gear why?

Hello Im having some automotive troubles. Just the other day my car started shaking ever time I shift to 5th gear. If im doing about 62mph+ the shaking is gone but at lower speeds in the gear it shakes tremendously. I can ride 4th till about 55 mph no problem but as soon as I put it in 5th gear a strong "wobble or shake" occurs. BTW I am driving a 1993 Ford Escort if that helps anyone. Thanks in advance!

Sharp Pain on right side under area when I bend over.. Possibly gallbladder?

I am 23 years old and have been a CNA in a nursing home for about 3 months. In the past few months every now and then when I would bend over to do something for a resident I would get a VERY sharp pain in my side, I'd stand up straight, hold it and it would p and I'd go about my day. I didnt worry about it much at first at all. This past week it's become alot worse and I left work because of it and went to the doctor a few days ago because it started happening EVERY time I bent over and now when it happens it's not just the sharp pain! Now when I stand up to deal with the pain and wait for it to p it's like something POPS back into place and it's extremely painful! The doctor said it may be an inflamed gallbladder and gave me Naproxen (An anti inflammatory/pain reliever). Sense I've never had this problem before he said I may want to look into a career change. But, I wanted to know has anyone else experienced this and what is was and what you did for it? I had a kid a year ago and thought maybe it had something to do with my breats now being DD putting pressure there everytime I bend over? Or is it possible that I may need my gallbladder removed?...

First of all let me say that you’re not stupid for not understanding this, I didn't use to understand it and I still don't completely. The way I think it is is Global Warming is exactly what it is The hole world is getting warmer. You could take one place and still find that it can get really cold there for a really long time, but if you look on a global scale then you should find that on average the temperature would be getting warmer. The same thing goes for winters, if you look world wide than on average the worlds winters probably would be getting shorter and warmer, but you could still find places that are really cold for really long times. Global Warming is kind of the same thing as Global climate change, some of the effects of global warming cause other changes, like if Global warming stops the gulf stream then the UK will get a lot colder. Global Warming could cause a lot of different changes, some places might get more rain some places less, some places could also get more snow and someplaces will get less.

I love the theatre, but I work as a stage manager so I am a bit biased. I forget how beautiful the bits the audience see are. Backstage they aren't half as glamourous! Most dressing rooms are small and sometimes windowless and plain and when there is an explosion in the population, it is not unknown to be sharing the space with a number of small furry creatures. It isn't often I get the chance to go out front and see all of the beautiful decoration. I don't really have a favourite - it is usually the theatre I am working in at the time! I worked at the Apollo last year and I can't honestly remember what it was like front of house, but the staff are lovely.

Is it normal to be in so much pain at 28 wks (with one baby) that you can hardly walk at times. My lower back, pelvis & abs just ache that I could just cry. I brought it up to my Dr at my last 2 OB-GYN appts, and she said it was normal becuz it was my 2nd pregnancy, but it wasn't this bad. The last 2-3wks its just gotten way worse, when I walk my pelvis & lower back will click. So, during my endeavor I have come across some websites that say that having an appendectomy puts you at "high risk" for infertility and basically can be counted as a reason to start fertility testing sooner than the one year mark.
